Clockwise from top left : Thick-billed Parrot, Blue and Gold Macaw and a Peacock
I feel I've neglected the birds from this series... so here's one for them. When we think of wildlife, birds are a major part of it and equally endangered.
wildLife series | I believe there is so much we ought to teach our generation and the generations to come about the other forms of life that were meant to live in peaceful co-existence with us (or were we supposed to live in peaceful co-existence with them? Simple play of words... but a completely different way of looking at the scenario). It is a shame that even when we're told that a certain species is endangered, we sympathize for a minute and forget about it the next... not realizing we just allowed it to happen. With that shrug, we sent an entire species to it's extinction. With our ignorance and lack of empathy, we turn our backs on God's wonderful creations. So this is my attempt at bringing to light a few of those creatures who deserve a moment of our time to be recognized as beautiful, gentle, agile or whatever adjectives prolific writers use to describe humans. I'm definitely not the first to do this, and hopefully not the last.
